How to transfer wallets
Once you have your new Magic wallet, transferring tokens and collectables from your Blocto Wallet to your Magic Wallet is entirely up to you. With a new wallet, it makes sense having all your AFL Mint collectables stored in one place, Magic wallet!
Collectables listed on the marketplace will not be transferred. Make sure to delist collectables in order to transfer your entire collection. Once the transfer process is completed, both tokens and collectables are transferred from one wallet to the other. You can transfer 250-300 collectables in one go for your convenience.
You will need to be connected to your Blocto wallet to transfer your Blocto tokens and collections to your Magic wallet.
- Click ‘Profile Icon’
- Click ‘Manage’
- Click ‘Wallet transfer’
- Click ‘Transfer Now’
A Blocto confirmation will pop-up, click ‘Approve’
Congratulations on transferring your Blocto wallet to your new Magic wallet. You can view your collectables in ‘Trophy Cabinet’, while the Magic wallet is connected.
If you are connected with Magic wallet, you will need to connect your Blocto wallet to transfer your Blocto tokens and collections to Magic wallet.
- Click ‘Profile Icon’
- Click ‘Manage’
- Click ‘Manage wallets’
- Click the ‘Toggle’ to connect Blocto wallet
- Click ‘Transfer’
- Click ‘Transfer Now’
Your Magic wallet will be automatically disconnected, while Blocto wallet is connected.
New: Transferring Between Flow Wallet and Blocto Wallet
We only support transferring from Magic to Blocto/Flow or vice versa. There is currently no transferring method from Blocto to Flow, or vice versa, via the AFL Mint website.
If you wish to move your entire wallet contents from one wallet to another (e.g., Flow Wallet to Blocto, or Blocto to Flow Wallet), follow the guide below:
Steps to Transfer:
- Head to your Profile > Manage
- Make sure the wallet with the funds/moments you want to transfer is connected. Check the appropriate radio button to select the wallet and approve the connection by signing in.
- Ensure the correct wallet address is selected in the dropdown box on the right-hand side (especially if transferring from a Blocto or Flow wallet).
- Press ‘Transfer’
- Allow the page to load fully, and double-check that the from wallet and to wallet addresses are correct.
- Press ‘Transfer Now’ and approve the transaction.
⚡ Important:
If you wish to transfer between Blocto and Flow wallets directly (Blocto → Flow or Flow → Blocto), you must use the Blocto app, Flow app, or Flow wallet browser extension. Transferring directly between these wallets is not supported via the AFL Mint website.
What will be transferred?
When you go through the transfer process, you will be able to transfer both funds and collectables from one wallet to the other. Just make sure both wallets are connected by clicking the toggle button on the wallets. You can transfer 250-300 collectables in one go for your convenience.
For example, if you had 20 collectables after the transfer, you will have 20 collectables in your new wallet. If you had 50 USDC tokens in your wallet and then completed the transfer process, you would have 50 USDC in the wallet that you transferred it into.
Does it cost anything to transfer?
No. As the account owner, you don’t pay anything for transferring. The wallets (Magic & Blocto) will cover transfer fees in the background.
Why should I transfer?
You don’t need to transfer if you do not want to. The option to transfer is your choice.
We are introducing a new wallet for our community to use, and people will want to have the freedom to move collectables from wallet to wallet.
Will my Trophy Cabinet change?
No, it won't change.
If you log in with the wallet that you transferred items from, this might cause you to gasp out loud seeing an empty Trophy Cabinet.
Take a deep breath and sign in with the other wallet and make sure that all your items are there. Cosmetically, nothing changes outside of the number of collectables stored in each wallet.
Will my Marketplace listings change?
You will not be able to transfer any items that are listed for sale.
To transfer these items, you will need to delist them from the marketplace first, or leave them in the wallet that you are transferring from.
Can I transfer only selected collectables?
No, not at the moment.
For smaller collections, you can transfer everything that’s not listed for sale in one transfer.
For larger collections, you may need to transfer a couple of times.
